How do I know if my water line is leaking? If the water from your taps is discoloured, you have lessened pressure, or there is a notable leak inside your home (or outside) you may be in need of a water line (water main) repair or replacement.

Note: The replacement of a water line leading to your house is not a small job. The old line must be located and it is often necessary to excavate and trench the area in order to access the pipe.  Milton Plumbing and Heating has a great deal of experience working with water lines and will get the job done right the first time.

How much does it cost to replace a water line?  The price to replace a water line is one of the more costly plumbing jobs you may encounter as a home owner.  When we visit your home Alex will assess the situation and provide a quote with our Straight Forward Pricing (no hidden costs, no additional costs without your approval).  He will look at a number of factors when estimating costs including:
Distance from home to town water supply
Trees (and roots) in your yard
Age of home, and pipe
Existence of any irrigation lines
Location of underground utilities

For most water line jobs we can finish quickly and get you back with clean water and full pressure to your system!  If you are on a well then you may have issues with your well pump.  We also provide full well pump service.
